SUMMARY:The Emerging Threat of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in Child Sexual Exploitation
DESCRIPTION:During this webinar, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) will be discussing how offenders are using Generative AI to exploit children globally.  This webinar will focus on how Generative AI is being used to create Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), and the complexities it can cause in case investigations, victim identification, and other areas.  Through this webinar,  the attendees will be able to gain insights into how deep this problem really is, and will gain a better understanding, through the use of examples, about how offenders are harming children through the use of this technology. \n \nSpeakers:\n\nShelley Allwang – Director (Exploited Children Division), National Center for Missing and Exploited Children\n\nBiography: With nearly 20 years of experience in the field of child protection and exploitation prevention, Shelley Allwang is a Director in the Exploited Children Division at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
