This prestigious award will be made in recognition of technology innovation in courts for the purpose of improved communication, operational efficiencies and access to justice using information and communications technologies while addressing the security and resiliency required to maintain the integrity of the justice system.
The Corrections Advisory Committee Information Technology Recognition, honors a team achievement for technical innovation between industry partner(s) and one or more practitioner agency(ies) that significantly contributed to the advancement of corrections information technology in the public sector.
The annual IJIS Institute Thomas J. O’Reilly Innovation Award, which was first presented in 2009, recognizes technical innovation that has significantly contributed to the advancement of information sharing and the IJIS Institute mission in major public sector domains.
The Robert P. Shumate National Public Safety and Justice Contributor to Excellence Award, named for the first president of the IJIS Institute, is presented annually by the IJIS Institute to an individual from either industry or the public sector that has made the most valuable contribution to justice and public safety information sharing over his or her career.
