Highlights for the Coming Year…. Over the coming New Year, we will focus our efforts on increasing the value of – and for – our IJIS Community Collaboration Network. Our fundamental principle of promoting operational mission outcomes and enabling technology in the public sector will remain strong. How we focus on that priority will remain constant through advocating for policies, processes, and information sharing standards in the broader information sharing environment. Given our changing world and some time-sensitive issues, critical areas of focus for 2024 will include no less than the following: Emergency Communications Interoperability; Artificial Intelligence Usage in Criminal Justice and Justice Communities; Public Safety and Public Health Data Sharing; Cyber Security Threat Awareness and Support; and, Leadership Development and Culture Change Issues to name only a few priorities.
