IJIS Institute Announces 2023-2024 Board of Directors
Ashburn, VA, July 13, 2023 – The IJIS Institute – a nonprofit collaboration network that brings together innovative thinkers from the public and private sectors, national practice associations, and academic / research organizations working together to solve public sector mission, information sharing, policy, and technology challenges – announces the results of its recent Board of Directors election.
The annual Board of Directors elections resulted in the following individuals elected for a three-year term:

Joe Wheeler, Vice President of Justice and Courts at Mission Critical Partners and current IJIS Board of Directors Chair stated, “I am honored to have served as the Chair of the IJIS Board of Directors, and look forward to continuing to support the cause as a Board member. IJIS plays a mission-critical role in coordinating technology innovations across the justice ecosystem. Collaboration between industry, not-for-profit organizations, and the justice/public safety communities are critical to so many public sector missions. IJIS stands ready to respond to the challenges that face our communities.”
The new Board of Directors will appoint its executive leadership team during the next Board Meeting scheduled for August to include its next Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, and Director-at-large.
