IJIS Board of Directors Appoints 2026 Executive Leadership

Ashburn, VA, September 30th, 2025 – The newly elected IJIS Institute Board of Directors recently met for its quarterly board meeting to discuss the current priorities and to start the planning discussions for 2026. This in-person meeting was held at the IJIS Justice, Public Safety, and Security Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

During their meeting, and in accordance with the IJIS bylaws, the group appointed its Executive Leadership Committee to include the following individuals:

  • Jim Pingel of Mission Critical Partners (MCP) as Chairperson
  • Bill Josko of Government Technologies Group (GTG) as Vice-Chairperson
  • Larry Zorio of Mark43 as Treasurer
  • Todd Thompson of Harris Computer | Frontline Public Safety as Secretary
  • David Williams of Microsoft as Director-at-Large

The remaining Board Directors including Jeff Bruns, Don Denning, Mike Lesko, and Steven Raucher will continue to contribute great value and support the same goals and objectives of the full Board.

Executive Director Maria Cardiellos offered “Once again, IJIS is privileged to have great leaders from the private sector community that are not only accomplished in their own right but serve as visionaries in the field. More, they are willing to contribute of their time and energy to support the mission of our organization – that of contributing to the health and safety of our communities by supporting public sector mission practitioners. I cannot express how grateful we are as an Institute, and how I am looking forward to a rewarding year ahead!”
