Cybersecurity Webinar: Voices from the Field – What Justice and Public Safety officials are doing to stay safe online

Supported by IJIS Cybersecurity Working Group

Cyber threats are on the rise and are impacting the Justice and Public Safety (JPS) agencies daily.  According to the 2022 Cyber Threats to Public Safety report published by Motorola Solutions, it has been consistently on the rise since 2019, and at the same time threat actors or hacktivists are getting very sophisticated in their attacks.  Unfortunately, the increase in cyber threats and sophistication of these threats is going to increase this year and JPS agencies must do better to manage these threats and associated risks.  To address these key issues the IJIS Institute during this Cybersecurity awareness month will be hosting a webinar to bring “Voices from the Field – What Justice and Public Safety officials are doing to stay safe online?” The panelists will include JPS practitioners and the private sector to share their views on this important topic.
