The dates for the inaugural IJIS Community Forum have been set! Mark your calendars and start making plans to attend! The 2023 Community Forum will be held June 13-15 in beautiful North Austin, Texas at the Westin Austin at the Domain. The venue is surrounded by hundreds of shops, restaurants, and local culture in the hottest neighborhood in town. |

Centered around critical issues that face our communities nationwide, this event will address topics including threat to life concerns, explicitly assessing the issues of school safety, gun violence, and mental health. We will also explore the evolution of emergency service providers’ response to situations that are both man-made and natural disasters impacting our communities and increasing the necessity for real-time data sharing to support the response. By attending the event, you will also hear exclusive insights from our federal leaders across domains in these areas and how the IJIS community can better support these priorities. |
